Bronze: Powdered Metal Parts and Components

Bronze Powders Metal Parts and Components Bronze Metal Components

Bronze is used in a variety of component part applications from ‘structural components’ to bronze bushings, self lubricated bearings, Oilite®, and R-Lube®.

Self-Lubricated Bearings

Self-lubricated bearings are standard bronze bearings that are impregnated with any number of oils or lubricants. This is done by putting the parts under vacuum in a bath of oil, which draws the oil into the pores of the bearings. The bearing would then over time release the lubricant.
