Brass & Copper: Powdered Metal Parts and Components

Brass and Copper Powders Metal Parts and Components Brass Metal Components

Brass is used in a variety of component part applications from standard bushings, spacers and bearings, to more complex shaped structural parts, usually where appearance and corrosion resistance are key. Powdered metal brass material is typically available with copper levels ranging from 90% to 70%, and the balance being Zinc.

Copper Applications

Aside form being the main ingredient in both Brass and Bronze material’s; Copper is commonly used for electrical applications, and in areas where high temperature or conductivity is a concern. Copper is also used for infiltration of Iron, Tungsten and other metals.
