Sintering: Powdered Metal Capabilities
Sintering is the heating of a metal compact to join the metal particles increasing the metal components mechanical properties. We maintain a series of specific sintering furnaces in order to achieve the final properties our customers require. Our furnaces all have the ability to change atmosphere mixes and temperatures. We can achieve a max temperature of 3000°F with the capability to sinter in pure hydrogen. This gives us the versatility to fulfill your requirements in the most cost effective manner.
Our sintering department features furnaces ranging from 6” – 20” continuous feed belt furnaces as well as two 8” high temperature pusher furnaces.
